Le Syndicat National des Moniteurs du Ski Français (ESF) – French ski instructor association:
"Contributing to better safety is part of our job’, says SNMSF’s Guy-Aimé Hurdy. ‘As with the use of helmets before, we want to actively participate on this issue.
As we play an essential role in winter sports, with MAGNESTICK we can provide and outsider's view on the product as it has been developed up until now. At the end of the day, we want what’s best for our clients, and especially to ensure the safety of our young apprentices.
In our own way, we’ll participate in making MAGNESTICK as efficient as possible. Every effort has been made until now with regards to equipment and slopes to enable small children to ski and parent's requests have meant that you can start to ski at a very young age. So we obviously need to think about accommodating small-sized chairlift users.
We automatically participate in discussions on safety and we like this particular concept very much. The idea is good and that’s why we want to get involved in this product’s development. This product provides a solution which requires few modifications to the existing chairlifts. It adapts to the chairlifts already in place and that is crucial for us."
